    Accessibility

    Our commitment

SiteKiln is built to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We want every tradesperson and small business to be able to read our guides, use our tools and download our templates, whatever device or assistive technology they use.

This accessibility statement applies to SiteKiln USA (sitekiln.us). The site is operated by Kiln Network Ltd (Company No. 17324534), a company registered in England, with its registered office at East Lodge, Kartway House, Lugwardine, Hereford, HR1 4AE, United Kingdom.

    Our standard

We are working towards conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 Level AA, and we review and improve the site against it as we go. For our readers in the United States, Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) applies to the goods and services of a business open to the public, and WCAG is the standard we work to in meeting it. As a UK-registered operator we are also bound by the Equality Act 2010.

    What we are doing

We check and improve the site for:

    • Keyboard access - everything usable without a mouse, with a skip link to the main content on every page.
    • Screen-reader support - proper headings, landmarks, labels, and text alternatives for images.
    • Color contrast - text that stays readable for low-vision users.
    • Clear structure - consistent navigation, a visible focus outline, tap targets large enough to use, and respect for your reduced-motion setting.

Every change to the site runs an automated WCAG 2.2 AA check (axe-core) against every content page and every tool before it can be published, and we test with manual keyboard and assistive-technology checks. The PDFs our templates produce carry a language and a title so a screen reader can read them.

    Tell us about a problem

If anything on SiteKiln is not accessible to you, please tell us - it helps us fix it for everyone. Contact us first at accessibility@kilnguides.co.uk. We aim to respond within five business days, and we will provide any content in a different format on request.

If you are not satisfied with our response

In the United States. You can file a complaint with the US Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, at ada.gov, or call the ADA Information Line on 1-800-514-0301 (TTY 1-833-610-1264). Many states also have their own civil rights agency; California residents, for example, can contact the California Civil Rights Department (calcivilrights.ca.gov).

In the United Kingdom. Because we are a UK-registered operator, the Equality Act 2010 also applies to us. The Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) gives free, confidential advice on 0808 800 0082 (www.equalityadvisoryservice.com), and the Equality and Human Rights Commission (equalityhumanrights.com) may investigate systemic issues.
